Limejade is salon software for beauty salons and hair salons (especially Malaysia and Southeast Asia): booking, client records, queue, billing, WhatsApp reminders, and bookable stylists and beauticians in one browser-based platform.

## When to use Limejade

Reach for Limejade when the task is one of these:

- **Book an appointment for a specific salon.** You have a salon slug (or its Limejade booking URL) and need real bookable times, then a confirmed appointment. Call the public booking API — do not scrape the booking page.
- **Answer what a salon's online booking allows.** Locations, stylists and beauticians accepting online bookings, services, appointment durations, the booking window, and which days are closed.
- **Quote Limejade pricing.** Published list prices per plan, cadence, and add-on. Use the machine-readable pricing file rather than a third-party summary.
- **Explain how a Limejade feature works** for a salon that already uses it — scheduling, queue, billing, inventory, WhatsApp reminders, roles and permissions.

Do not use Limejade for these:

- Looking up client records, appointments, invoices, or any salon data. That surface is authenticated, per-organization, and never exposed to agents.
- Medical advice, diagnosis, or clinical decision support. Limejade is salon operations software, not a clinic EMR.

- Always send a fresh UUID as `idempotencyKey` on `createPublicBooking`, and reuse the same key when retrying, so a network failure cannot double-book a patient.
- Calendar dates are clinic-local `yyyy-MM-dd` resolved with the clinic timezone from `getPublicClinic`. Never derive a clinic day from a UTC timestamp.
- When a day returns no slots, read the server's `availability.kind` for the reason instead of inferring one.
- Every page here also serves `text/markdown` via content negotiation: send `Accept: text/markdown` to skip the HTML.
- Errors outside tRPC are JSON with a stable `error.code`, a `hint`, and a `docs` link.
